Altar Workers

Assist in ministering to individuals and groups during prayer at the altar and special services or crusades

Audio Visual / Media / Technology

Provide audio, video, technical assistance during services, media production

Awesome Bible Study

Explore God’s Word to develop knowledge and understanding of how to apply the principles and truths of the Bible for victorious living

Children and Teen Church

Teach young children and teens the Word of God through praise and worship, Bible lesson videos, drama, arts and crafts, and other age appropriate methods

Community Outreach

Minister and be a resource beyond the Church walls – in prisons, nursing homes, neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and shelters

Counseling

Share the Biblical approach to resolving various issues of life through pastoral counseling

Dance and Movement

Express the Gospel of Jesus Christ through movement, banners, and liturgical dance

Discipleship

Provide direction and support to new converts and believers as they mature in their Christian walk

In-Touch

Encourage those who are first-time visitors, confined, homebound, or inactive to stay connected or reconnect

Leadership Classes

Provide direction and training for ministry leaders who have been assigned to specific areas of ministry

Marriage Enrichment

Provide opportunities for couples to participate in fellowship events and also study and apply God’s Word to life issues related to the family

Men’s Ministry

Sons of Levi (SOL)

Provide fellowship and study of God’s Word to support men and young men as they grow in discipleship

Missions

Evangelize the world for Christ by providing financial support to other nations through the Assistant Pastor and other established, international mission agencies

Music & Instruments

Lead the congregation in worship through anointed Praise and Worship psalmist, team, and the playing of musical instruments

New Member Fellowship

New Members gather to fellowship, meet and greet, and become informed of the various Church ministries and activities

New Members/New Converts Classes

Provide opportunities for persons to get a good understanding of what it means to be a member of NSRFC and how to continue personal spiritual growth and development

One Voice-In-Christ Chorale

Select group of singers who have a passion to minister with excellence and, as one voice, minister during special occasions as requested by the Pastors

Preach, Teach, Lead (PTL)

Provide instruction, mentoring and training for those called to preaching, teaching, and administrative leadership.  For example: Ordained Ministers of the Gospel, Evangelists and Deacons

Scholarship

Provide financial/incentive awards to high school and college graduates who meet stated criteria

Ushers/Greeters

Show love through welcoming smile, handshake, greeting, responsible for safety, security and comfort of those attending services

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Provide opportunity for children in the community to experience Biblical teaching in a fun, interactive way through drama, dance, video Bible lessons, scripture memorization, games, arts and crafts

Women’s Ministry

Sisters of Substance (SOS)

Serve various areas of the Church – hospitality, sponsorship of conferences, prayer groups, fellowship dinners, mentorship of young girls and teen girls

Youth and Young Adult Ministry

Encourage youth and young adults to develop a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible study, to connect with their peers in wholesome social settings, and to participate in outreach activities in the community in order to impact their generation for Christ
