It’s Hard To Find A FAITHFUL Man or Woman

There are many situations in life where we need help from someone else to accomplish a task or goal. We often rely on others for different things in our everyday lives. Could you imagine trying to move that huge sofa in your living room to the basement by yourself? Or how would you remove the trash from your house every week if you didn’t rely on the garbage man to come and collect it?

Needing help with something is one thing; getting help or assistance is another thing. Finding a faithful person to help in the time of need can be a daunting task. People are quick to proclaim their willingness to help in a situation but those same individuals are sometimes difficult to find when the real task is at hand.

Just like you and I are looking for a faithful people to help you accomplish a task, God is looking for faithful people too. Pastor E spoke on FAITHFULNESS in this week’s message. He used Proverbs 20:6 to illustrate God’s search for faithful people.

Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? Proverbs 20:6 KJV

In Proverbs God describes how it is hard to find FAITHFUL man or woman. God describes how many people will proclaim their own goodness and greatness but they will lack in true faithfulness.

God needs help accomplishing his tasks here on earth. What? God needs help? Yes, He does. And even more … HE NEEDS YOUR HELP. And God works best through faithful individuals. Faithfulness is ACTION not talk. The verse in Proverbs shows how many people are quick to proclaim faith through words but TRUE FAITH IS SHOWN THROUGH ACTION.

When God examines your life does he look at you and still remark that it is hard to find someone faithful? Or can God look at your actions and be proud of your faithfulness towards Him? God is calling all of us to increase our faithfulness to Him. He is asking all of us to decrease in someway so that He could be exalted in the world through YOUR FAITHFULNESS.

What actions could you perform to show your faithfulness?
