On July 9 the men and young men of New Solid Rock Fellowship Church met for our monthly Men’s Huddle meeting. The Men’s Huddle is a time where the men of the church can come together to study & discuss the Word of God and discover ways to apply it in our lives.
As part of the Men’s Huddle we have incorporated a community garden activity this year. We have planted broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and watermelons in our plot. There is much work to do to prepare for our anticipated harvest. The men came out to help weed, lay down mulch, stake plants, and build trellises.
We are expecting A GREAT HARVEST!
- Pastor E takes a look to see what Bro. A.J. is harvesting.
- First cucumber from the community garden.
- Bro. A.J. holds up his cucumber harvest.
- Bro. Asaiah is making sure our pepper plants are well mulched.
- Sweet Banana Peppers (7/9/11)

June 27 – July 1 / 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Your kids will travel through the Old Testament as well as the New Testament to learn several attributes of God. From Adam and Eve to the Passover to the building of the tabernacle to Jesus on the cross, your kids will learn how God’s holiness and separation from sin have never changed. Kids churched and unchurched alike will hear and understand the Gospel in a whole new way. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It’s time to kick it old school!

Easter at Our New Location!

My God can do anything, anything, anything.
My God can do anything!
He made this world and all its fullness
and all that time will bring.
My God can do anything!
Today our hearts are overwhelmed in amazement at the wondrous things God has done in our midst. We thank Him for the legacy that has brought us to this day. We pay tribute to the spiritual foundation that was laid many years ago by the prayers and support of many who are now resting with Jesus, including among others, the founding Mother of our Church Deacon Dr. Gabrella McNair, our Pastor and Mentor Rev. J. Luther Carroll – Christian Life Church, and our parents Rev. Walter and Mrs. Margaret Sewell – United Methodist Church Pastor and First Lady.
We thank God for the wonderful sheep He has pastured here at New Solid Rock Fellowship Church and for the many friends and supporters who have helped pave the way to this Glorious Resurrection Sunday of Celebration.
As we move forward into the vision God has placed before us, we go forth with the confidence that what God has begun, He is well able to complete.
God’s Blessings Be With You,
Pastor B & Pastor E
